In this role, you will:
Hours: Monday-Friday.
Salary up to $160,000/year based on experience.

In this role, you will:
- Take a thorough patient history of pain and prior treatments along with performing a thorough physical examination to obtain an accurate diagnosis or diagnoses. Devise an accurate treatment plan based on this data.
- Prior experience (or will be trained) on how to read x-rays, CT scans and MRIs in order to help diagnose and treat patients
- Learn to become proficient in educating patients on pre and post-procedure needs and expectations. Become proficient and knowledgeable on the procedures the physicians do and be able to explain to patients.
- Learn to become proficient in variable office procedures including- trigger point injections, intrathecal pump refills, botox, and joint injections
- Be able to appropriately triage patients as well as answer phone calls and address provider inbox messages to help with patient care
- Stay up- to -date with the advancements in the interventional pain management field via weekly provider educational sessions, webinars, dinner presentations and conferences. Keep up-to-date with CMEs
- Work collaboratively with the other physicians, advanced practice providers in the practice as well as nursing and ancillary staff
- Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program for nursing education and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program or PA from an accredited program.
- NP/PA experience preferred.
- Pain management, orthopedics, neurology or spine background preferred
- RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
- Current state licensure as Nurse Practitioner/Physician assistant Flexibility with ability to see patients in all offices in Suffolk County including Port Jefferson, Patchogue and Riverhead based upon patient and staffing needs
