In This Role, You Will:

Float between NYH locations
Manage patient intakes, ensuring accurate information recording.
Collect and process lab specimens, including venipuncture and diagnostic tests (flu, COVID, strep).
Conduct audiometry testing, spirometry, pulmonary function tests, nebulizer treatments, and urine tests.
Record patients' vital signs.
Prepare patients for examinations.
Sterilize medical equipment and instruments.
Assist providers and other support staff in the data entry process
Assist physicians during visits with examinations and all office procedures
Perform diagnostic testing under the direct supervision of a Physician or APP.
Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing.

We Require:

A Medical Assistant Certificate and a High School Diploma
At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Proficiency in OncoEMR (preferred)
Willingness to travel to NYH locations.
